Rooftop Happy Hours
It’s summer time in NYC… Rooftops are open and drinks are being shaken (or stirred) to your liking. Now the hard part… where the F are me and my friends going to go? And I have to decide… Well no worries… I’m an NYC rooftop connoisseur and here are the hottest spots.
Great view, fun drink menu, may be crowded but with a good crowd:
1. Pod 39 Hotel – Please get the Salvation Margarita and take in a view of the Chrysler Building. This place is cute and has a Mexican feel. I have never been disappointed. Midtown East – 39th st between Lex & 3rd Ave.
2. Refinery Rooftop – Gorgeous view of Empire. A great place to take coworkers that are looking for a drink or two in a swanky place or to meet up with a couple of friends after work. Midtown – 38th & 6th Ave
Fancy S’mancy (for Midtown that is)
1. Kimberly Hotel – There’s a great view of Chrysler Building, but no tennis shoes! I tend to go here a little later in the evening. Great place to start the night and enjoy some cocktails and some fun. Midtown – 50th st btw 3rd Ave. and Lex
2. Gansevoort Park Rooftop – Not quite Midtown, some might consider it Gramercy, but it’s swanky and sure to impress with the pool and fireplaces. Make sure to lounge around in the furniture by the pool and soak in the views (of the city, not just the gorgeous people around). Gramercy/Midtown – Park & 30th
